Boating and Fishing
Boating on the Wolf River is a top attraction in the New London Area. The river connects New London, Shawano, Fremont and Winneconne. Popular fish in this river are many varieties of panfish, large and smallmouth bass, musky, and trout. Watch this video for great info about the Wolf River Walleye Run! Float in on the river and set your lines in New London. Stop in at Johnny’s Little Shop of Bait for all your fishing supplies.
Kayaking
Looking for a great opportunity to become one with nature and see some awesome murals created by our local Wolf River Art League? You can use the kayak launch at Riverside Park and float your kayak or canoe down the Wolf and Embarrass Rivers through downtown New London for a relaxing, fun experience! Sports
New London has many facilities for any sport. Play a game of baseball at Pfeifer Park, enjoy a round of disc golf or horseshoes at Hatten Park. Our parks have many sporting options to chose from for all sports lovers! We also have area golf courses to enjoy as well.
Water Activities
Enjoy various water activities in the New London area. Head over to Dragonfly Paddlers LLC or Wolf River Trips and Campground to enjoy tubing, kayaking or canoeing down our beautiful rivers. Relax on the river and take in the views while you float on down the river.
Community Bike Rentals
Community Bike Rentals at the Chamber office will be available starting in June and ending in September. Stop by Monday-Thursday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 12p.m. If you are interested in renting bikes for the weekend they would need to be picked up on Friday before 12 p.m. Reservations are also welcome!
