» Snowmobiling & Trails Motel access is provided by a trail that's found behind the AmericInn near the front of the Crystal Falls Banquet Facility [map]. Gas and restaurants are nearby too. Another access point is found at Hatten Park [map]. Both trails connect to a comprehensive network of groomed trails. Before setting out, check on the open/closed status of trails. A detailed Waupaca County snowmobile trail map brochure is available at the New London Area Chamber of Commerce. It is also available at New London Travel Plaza, Bean City, & Pup's. When the snow flies, Hatten Park provides a natural setting for cross-country skiing. Location Map The Mosquito Hill Nature Center just 2 miles east of New London has one un-groomed cross-country skiing trail and five miles of snowshoe trails during the snow season. Visit the Mosquito Hill Nature Center website for snowshoe rental information and hours. Location Map » Sledding Hill & Ice Skating Enjoy a sledding hill and outdoor ice rink at Riverside Park that's open as conditions permit. A warming house is open during park hours of 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. To find out if the hill or rink are open, call 920-982-8521. Location Map » Downhill Skiing, Snowboarding, Tubing Parks About 30 minutes or 22 miles from New London's motels is the Navarino Slopes ski area (& snow-tubing) with a 120' vertical.
